Various announcements came out of a Nintendo meeting with investors yesterday, many of which will mean good news for gamers down the road.
First up, Super Smash Bros. has been confirmed for a release sometime in 2014, while Mario Kart 8 is being aimed for a worldwide release this May. A specific date wasn’t given, but should be provided in the months ahead.
In addition, Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo, confirmed that the Wii U would soon see Nintendo DS games. There’s no word yet on what specific games will be coming, but one that was highlighted during the meeting was the puzzle-based Brain Age. Again, expect more information in the months ahead.
It’ll be interesting to see what Nintendo is up to for 2014. Here’s to hoping for good things.
