Nintendo had plenty to announced during this morning’s Nintendo Direct special, and though none of its blockbuster E3 releases were included, we did get an idea when it would be releasing several of its key titles for the Wii U.
First up, Game & Wario will be dropping on June 23rd for both retail and Nintendo Network. The mini-game compilation includes a number of events that take advantage of the Wii U GamePad – we’ll have a preview of this one shortly.
Next up, New Super Luigi U will feature 100 additional levels not featured in the original New Super Mario Bros. U, along with a new character called Nabbit who can steal items from the Toad House. You can either download the Luigi U pack as DLC for $19.99, or buy it individually from retail for $29.99. It’ll arrive on June 20th as download, August 25th at retail.
Finally, Platinum Games’ long-awaited action/adventure The Wonderful 101 will see a release on the Wii U on September 15th, with more details expected to be announced at E3.
