Tyler “Ninja” Blevins announced his big partnership with Adidas earlier this year and now a new addition has been revealed for the growing line.
The new Night Jogger shoes are meant to be reflective of the endless hours content creators, large and small, put into their craft. Whether it be Twitch, Mixer, or YouTube, video content creation is a lot more time consuming than many realise and facilitating a healthy community takes effort, time, and dedication.
The new shoes are just one part of the growing line with a blue and white design and a yellow “NINJA” emblazoned along the side:
“If a kid from Chicago who just loves playing video games can collaborate with one of the sporting world’s most iconic brands to launch a shoe together, anything is truly possible,” said the streamer in his statement about the new shoe line. “It’s through this philosophy that I hope I can help inspire the next generation of creators to realize their dreams — if you’re willing to put the TIME IN you can achieve anything.”
He added, “I’m beyond thrilled and humbled to finally show the world what I’ve been working on with Adidas. The ‘Time In’ Nite Jogger represents the culmination of countless hours dedicated to my craft paying off.”
The famous sports apparel company is not the first to sign a professional gamer to its ranks, as Nike had previously signed the professional League of Legends player Jian “Uzi” Zihao, and with esports continuing to grow at a rapid pace, we have a feeling this is the first of many collaborations to come.
The new shoes will be dropping on December 31, 2019. What are your thoughts on the growing partnership between Ninja and Adidas? Let us know over on Twitter at @primagames!
