Tecmo Koei is hitting the ground running early next year on the PlayStation Vita, so if you don’t have one yet, you should probably pick one up.
First up is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, which once again puts you in control of Ryu Hayabusa as he carves up enemies aplenty. The game features a new player switch feature (including Ayane and Momiji from the original game), as well as a new Ninja Race mode. It’ll hit store shelves on February 26th in the US, and Europe on March 1st.
Also coming right behind that is Dead Or Alive 5 Plus, which will take all the ferocious fighting action of the original release and pack it into the little Sony handheld. The game will feature support for the touch controls, so you can tap an enemy into defeat, and also features a full character scanner using the system’s motion sensor. Not sure how this is going to work, but we’re intrigued. This one releases on March 19th.
We’ll have previews on both of these games very soon, so be sure to check back for more details!
