A musical experience can make or break a game, or take an already amazing title to new heights. NieR: Automata is one of those experiences that has an incredible OST to go along with some pretty epic fights, and now fans outside of Japan can take part in the phenomenal world of NieR: Orchestra with a new concert tour just announced.
First things first, where are the new locations outside of Japan – where the concert was previously limited to – and when will these phenomenal events actually happen. Here’s what you need to know:
- Chicago, IL USA – January 24, 2020 at the Rosemont Theater
- London, UK – February 2, 2020 at the Royale Festival Hall
- Bangkok, Thailand – February 15, 2020 at the Prince Mahidol Hall
- Bangkok, Thailand – February 16, 2020 at the Prince Mahidol Hall
According to the main event posting, “These European and North American premiere concerts will be performed by full symphony orchestra and chorus, and will feature the vocal stylings of renowned soloist Emi Evans, under the direction of GRAMMY Award-winner and acclaimed conductor Arnie Roth. NieR director Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe have created HD video projections especially for these concerts, which will be projected onto giant screens throughout the performance. With these spectacular visuals, accompanied by the sonic power of over 100 musicians on stage, fans will be immersed in the world of NieR like never before!”
The NieR: Orchestra was a huge hit in Tokyo last year with four major sold-out shows. It was clear that the fans wanted this experience, making its expansion incredibly exciting! Square Enix promises and exciting show in a partnership with AWR Music Productions, giving 2020 one powerful way to start the new year.
