A rumor of a WB platform fighter has been going around the internet today. The game would feature gameplay similar to Super Smash bros. And feature an expansive roster of characters from the WB-owned properties like Batman, or Tony Soprano
New Report Indicates WB’s Multiverse Is A New Platform Fighter
While these reports are still well, reports. Jeff Grubb, a journalist at Gamesbeat and host of the Giantbomb premium news Show GrubbSnax, has reported that this game is in fact real, and “has been tested with fans”.
While this game may never actually see the light of day, Grubb reports that it is called “Multiverseand it is not being worked on by NetherRealm studios, the team behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice.
We still don’t know much about the game’s roster or any concrete details. Most of what has been reported are just rumblings like it potentially going free to play, but for now, it sounds like this game might be coming in the near future, especially since the cat is now out of the bag.
