New Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Colors Announced

Nintendo Switch players will soon have some new options when it comes to the colors of their Joy-Con controller.

The Joy-Con controllers are the tools players use to embark on all of their gaming adventures with the Nintendo Switch. Up until now, there have been two color variations for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con. However, Wednesday, July 17th saw Nintendo officially reveal that two new color variations for the Switch Joy-Con will be making their way onto the market in the future.

These two new color variations for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con consist of a blue and neon yellow combination and a neon purple and neon orange combination. Both of these new color variations for the Joy-Con will join the red and blue and gray versions that are already available for the Nintendo Switch.


In a tweet by the Nintendo of America account, it was revealed that the brand new Joy-Con colors will be available for players to purchase on October 4th and will burn a hole the size of $79.99 in the pocket of interested individuals. 

While the reveal of two new Joy-Con color combinations caught the attention of many community members, there was plenty of exciting Nintendo Switch news that made it way into the light on July 17th. From the reveal of a newer model of the fan-favorite console that boasts a much-improved battery life to the release date announcement for Luigi’s Mansion 3, plenty of exciting developments made themselves reality for Nintendo Switch fans today.
