New Gears 5 Trailer Drops Ahead of Tech Test

by Liana Ruppert

A tech test is coming soon for those interested in Gears 5 which will allow players to check out a few different Versus modes, including the brand-new Arcade mode. For long-time fans of the franchise, it will be an awesome way to see how the latest title stacks up against the rest, but to treat gamers a little early The Coalition decided to reveal a brand new Gears 5 trailer to get everyone amped up.

The above trailer is focused on the Versus Tech Test to show off exactly what fans can expect from the upcoming testing period, including what will be in Arcade. Since this is Gears we’re talking about, it’s going to be bloody, it’s going to be brutal, and it’s going to be awesome! Just no Cole Train, baby (woo?).

We’re definitely excited to see Kait back in action and witness an entirely new side to the dynamic character. According to Microsoft, “Humanity’s reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors. As Kait, journey back to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what’s left.”

Gears 5 arrives September 10th.
