New DOOM Eternal Concept Art Is Hellishly Good

by Liana Ruppert

Thousands of DOOM fans were enthralled by all of the inside looks at DOOM Eternal from Bethesda last year and while we wait for an even closer look during Bethesda’s showcase next month, the studio behind the Hellish adventure has shared a new piece of concept art to enjoy.

The above concept art shows off the iconic Doom Slayer in front of the very ominous Hell Gates. While it’s not a new trailer, we do know that Bethesda is gearing up for a fresh new look at the upcoming DOOM title during E3 next month, so this incredibly stunning concept art will just have to tide us over until then.

We still don’t have a release date at this time for DOOM Eternal, though hopefully, that is one of the reveals the studio has in mind for June. In the meantime, here’s what Bethesda had to say about the upcoming game to get fans hyped:

“Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you rip-and-tear your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat. Powered by idTech 7 and set to an all-new pulse-pounding soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon, DOOM Eternal puts you in control of the unstoppable DOOM Slayer as you blow apart new and classic demons with powerful weapons in unbelievable and never-before-seen worlds.”
