Call of Duty: Black Ops II is continuing to ramp up as a huge entry in the ongoing first-person shooter franchise, despite some skeptics thinking that it’s going too far. Today, Activision confirmed that it was involving more powerhouse talent behind the sequel with a new feature, featuring studio head Mark Lamia and game director Dave Anthony talking about their involvement.
David S. Goyer, the co-writer of such films as the Blade trilogy and the Dark Knight saga (including the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises), helped shape the story, revolving around American military machinery being overtaken and turned against its own country. In addition, Trent Reznor, the front man for Nine Inch Nails and composer for such films as The Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, discussed doing the opening song for the game, and the tone that he was looking for.
You can watch the video clip below, which features all four men talking about the game in depth. Then keep an eye open for more Black Ops II-related specials here at Prima, as we prepare for the game’s November 13th release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
