Netflix announced this morning that the fourth and final season of the Castlevania Netflix series will be airing on May 13, 2021. You can see the teaser trailer for the season below.
Netflix Announced Release Date For Final Season Of Castlevania
This series was the first in Netflix’s video game television series line. It was shortly followed by Dragon’s Dogma and more recently the DOTA Anime “Dragon’s Blood”.
While this is the end of the current series of Castlevania, Deadline reports that Netflix is eyeing a new series set in the same universe.
No further information on that project has been announced or teased, but Deadline reports that it has heard that lead writer Warren Ellis is not part of the conversations on the new series.
Ellis faced sexual misconduct allegations, which he denied, however, he has had no further involvement with the show.
What will the final season of Castlevania have in store for us? Well, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
