Good news – Criterion Games is officially on board with the Wii U. Bad news – you’ll have to wait a bit longer to see what they cook up.
Electronic Arts has announced today that they are bringing the upcoming racing game Need For Speed: Most Wanted to the Wii U. The game features dozens upon dozens of sweet rides, along with hundreds of race events, plenty of crazy crashes and online connectivity. So yeah, it’s a dream ride.
However, with the good news comes the bad – we won’t be getting it till 2013. But at least it’s coming, right?
An EA rep told Polygon, “We are very excited to deliver Need for Speed: Most Wanted on more platforms and to more gamers.”
“Starting October 30, Most Wanted will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Android and iOS. Then in 2013, Nintendo fans will be able to experience what it means to be Most Wanted amongst their friends on the Wii U.”
We’ll be back with a Wii U specific preview for the game shortly. In the meantime, snag it for PS Vita, PS3, Xbox 360 and mobile devices tomorrow!
