NCsoft Brings Blade & Soul West

In case you need more kung fu in your MMO.

NCsoft confirmed that it is bringing Blade & Soul to Western audiences. The game is a fantasy style MMO that focuses on kung fu action, similar to wuxia films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and House of Flying Daggers.

“I assure you, Blade & Soul will never run out of content to keep players engaged in the game,” asserts Executive Producer James Bae. “This game will not be a repetitive grindfest.”

 

Manga artist Hyung-Tae Kim, best known for the Magna Carta, helped craft the game’s visual style. 150,000 people took part in the beta trials, and NCsoft claims the game has been getting 230,000 concurrent users.
