NBA 2K14 is one of the best-looking games for PlayStation 4, with the most lifelike players we’ve seen. Of course, our roots go way back. We remember the early days of the 2K franchise on Dreamcast, first with NBA 2K, then NBA 2K1. The latter was the first online basketball game for Sega’s console, and we considered it cutting edge back in the day. Fast forward to 2013, and time has not necessarily been kind to the once powerful 2001 hoops title.

That said, we fired up the Dreamcast to see how 2K1 compares to 2K14. As you might imagine, a lot has changed over the years. Just look at Kobe Bryant!
