Mortal Shell’s Virtuous Cycle DLC Will Initially Be Free to Download
If you’ve been playing Mortal Shell and have an interest in the game’s upcoming DLC release, The Virtuous Cycle, you’ll want to mark the DLC’s release date on your calendar.
Why? Because the first five days after its release, it’ll be free for players to download, no purchase required! For exact dates, The Virtuous Cycle DLC is set to release on August 18 which means it’ll be free to download from August 18 through August 23.
And to help make things even easier, the free download will be offered to Mortal Shell players across all platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
Once the free download period has ended, the DLC can be purchased at any time for $7.99 (USD). To get the DLC – whether for free or purchased for $7.99 (USD) – you’ll also need to own a copy of Mortal Shell.
Touching upon the decision to give the DLC away for free, Kiron Ramdewar, Head of PC and Console at Mortal Shell publisher Playstack noted:
