Two summers ago, WB Games threw us for a loop when it brought back Mortal Kombat with the help of Ed Boon and his team at Netherrealm Studios. While the game was fantastic for consoles, PC owners sadly missed out on ripping enemies to shreds. Thankfully WB is giving them the opportunity to play the new Mortal Kombat this Summer.
Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition has been announced for PC and comes with every fighter that was included in the special “director’s cut” of the game. This includes new Kombatants like Rain, Kenshi and Freddy Krueger. The game will also include 15 Klassic skins for characters, as well as special fatalities for Reptile, Sub-Zero and Scorpion if you’re in an old-school state of mind.
Best of all, the game will be sold in two formats. You can either buy it digitally on July 3rd or you can wait for the physical edition on August 6th.
Long live Mortal Kombat… even if the competitors won’t.
