In an exciting announcement on the PlayStation Blog, it was confirmed that Mileena, Rambo, and Rain are all being added to Mortal Kombat 11 as part of the Kombat Pack 2. The DLC will also be included in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate which includes the base game and all of the DLC for it in one convenient all-in-one purchase.

Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack 2 Adds Mileena, Rambo, and Rain

If you’ve been asking NetherRealm Studios for Mileena we have good news, we’re finally getting Mileena as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 11! Adding to that good news, we’re also getting Rambo voiced by the one and only Sylvester Stallone and Rain.

“Rain now wields a katar, which he uses to slash and stab his opponents,” the blog post explains. “Rain can also use his magic to open a rift to a previously unknown watery realm. Here, all of his classic moves are reimagined. His water powers are also expressed in new and unique ways.”

For Mileena, she’ll be able to make use of her traditional sais while also having access to new razor-sharp claws. The claws are part of the gloves she wears, and in addition to functional forms of gear, Mileena has special looks like Kahnum Mileena where she sports her own “Shao Kahn style helmet” according to the blog post.

As noted above, Rambo will be voiced by Sylvester Stallone and will be visually reminiscent of Rambo’s look from “First Blood” in 1982. The design and cinematics teams reportedly took inspiration from First Blood as well as subsequent sequels.

They note they’ve worked hard to ensure all of Rambo’s dialogue stays true to the Rambo that fans know and love. If you’re interested in playing as Rambo and fighting against previous DLC additions like RoboCop or the Terminator you have a few options.

First, if you’ve been purchasing the DLC individually and want to continue to do so, you can pre-order the Kombat Pack 2 starting on October 15.

Anyone who pre-orders the Kombat Pack 2 will receive the Time Warriors Skin pack featuring three character skin variants including “Dark Web” Noob Saibot, “HCF” (Halt and Catch Fire) Liu Kang, and “Blood Moon” Skarlet.

Alternatively, if you haven’t purchased Mortal Kombat 11 and DLC like the Aftermath Expansion, there’s an easy all-in-one option that you can pre-order known as Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate.

The Ultimate edition includes the base game along with all previously released DLC including Aftermath, Kombat Pack 1, and Kombat Pack 2. It also comes with 9 skin packs, 7 exclusive skins, and if you pre-order the Ultimate edition you’ll also get the Time Warriors Skin pack mentioned above.

Thinking about next-gen upgrades? Ultimate has you covered there as well.

“Additionally, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is PlayStation 5 Upgrade Available, delivering 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times, and cross-generation console compatibility for select modes. And current Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate owners and new buyers on PlayStation 4 can access a free upgrade to the PS5 version of their game at no extra cost, available in conjunction with the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate launch.”

For PS4 and PS5 players, “there’s also Krossplay support” available in select modes.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate releases on November 17. If you’re a new player and pre-order Ultimate on or after October 15, you’ll get immediate access to Mortal Kombat 11, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, and the Kombat Pack 1 expansion.

The only thing you’ll have to wait for is the release of the Kombat Pack 2 expansion on November 17.

Again, you can add Mileena, Rambo, and Rain to your fighter roster by pre-ordering the Kombat Pack 2 on its own if you already own Mortal Kombat 11.
