The gameplay clip seen above shows off some of her power attacks against various enemy fighters alongside an expert use of that long hair (yas, queen). The reactions to her gameplay seem mostly positive, which is good news for fans given previous concerns that stemmed from a leak back in October.

There has been a lot of talk about Sindel since she was first announced as a revenant and a leak earlier last month seemed to tip her reception even more in a specific direction. “The former Queen of Edenia will stop at nothing to keep her place,” reads Sindel’s in-game bio that was revealed in a recent Reddit leak. “When threatened with the loss of her throne when Shao Kahn conquered her realm, Sindel betrayed her husband, and her people, to keep her privileged position. Now Shao Khan’s wife and Queen of the Outerworld, she enjoys power and wealth beyond most people’s imagination. Good luck to anyone who tries to take it from her.”

In the responding Reddit thread, there was a little bit of discontent happening over the bio seen above with players saying that her betrayal came following her bewitchment by invaders in her original lore. It looks like her look isn’t the only thing that’s different, though we’ll know more when she actually launches.

We’ll learn more about how her story has changed and what new content comes alongside her when she arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 26th in Mortal Kombat 11.
