The above listing comes from @NWPlayer123 over on Twitter and shows off some of the game’s files that make up the whopping 22.5GB download size for Mortal Kombat 11 on the Nintendo Switch. When looking for what exactly made the file size as big as it is, she uncovered a placeholder for 13 DLC characters, though specifics haven’t been found yet at this time.
With characters like Kitana revealed, though Mileena still in the dark and glaringly missing from the trophy leak earlier this month, the possibility of 13 fighters still on the way leaves that door of possibility wide open. Another possible addition could be Spawn, a character that Ed Boon wanted in the previous Mortal Kombat entry, though it just wasn’t doable at the time.
With an upcoming Kombat Kast dropping later this week with a focus on Kitana and Cetrion, we know that the studio still has a few more surprises lying in-wait. It will be interesting to see what else NetherRealm has to share ahead of the game’s launch later this month.
Mortal Kombat 11 is poised to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 23rd. You can learn more about the upcoming fighter with our Game Hub right here filled with confirmations, rumors, and that telling leaked trophy list.
