Jason Bergman has been nice enough to spill a few more beans on Fallout: New Vegas, including news that there are five vaults to explore.
The classic locations that are vaults will be featured in Fallout: New Vegas.
“Yes there are [Vaults],” the game’s senior producer Jason Bergman explained on the European PlayStation blog.
“We have five different Vaults in the game.
“They serve as unique dungeons, and depending on what path you follow through the main storyline, you may have to venture into one of them to retrieve something.”
He went on to explain that the cap level in New Vegas will be at 30, and revealed that there’ll be no demo, adding: “We wanted the focus to be completing the full game.”
The game will still be expanded with DLC though. Bergman wouldn’t mention “specifics”, though mentioned that the developer has a “a plan” “and we think it’s a good one”. There’ll be more from him soon apparently.
The Q&A session also explained there’s a 5GB install if you buy the game for the PS3. Apparently the game’s shooting mechanic is “more natural”, and features iron sight on most weapons. The game has monorail travel, though it depends on how well acquainted your character is with the NCR.
Fallout: New Vegas is coming to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in just four days.
