With Activision officially confirming that Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is due for release on the PlayStation Vita around the same time as Black Ops II, you can bet fans are intrigued to see what’s happening with it.  But when it comes to actually finding out who’s developing the game, well, the information seems a bit…classified?

According to Treyarch, who’s working on Black Ops II for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, the details are being kept very much in the dark.

“I don’t know,” said Treyarch’s Director of Communications John Rafecz, responding to VideoGamer’s inquiry about the developer.  “With regards to the Vita, all I can tell you is that it’s quite literally classified.”

Meanwhile whispers have been making the rounds that Call of Duty: Black Ops II could be making its way to Wii U as well…though Activision isn’t saying anything.  Said Rafecz, “Right now we’ve announced that the game is coming for 360, PS3 and PC.  Announcements regarding any other SKUs just haven’t been made.”

However, regarding the Wii U, Rafecz stated, “any technology that can enhance the Call of Duty experience is worth considering.”

Let’s just see what unfolds over the next few months then!
