Mistfall Hunter Update Adds New Einherjar Rewards and Delivers Class Balance Changes to Blackarrow and Withered Knight
Still hoping for a Blasphemer Seer buff.
Mistfall Hunter has received a new update that introduces fresh rewards for dedicated players while also rolling out another round of class balance changes and bug fixes.
The highlight of the patch is the addition of Dried Flower Knots, a new reward that can now drop after defeating Mist Lords in Einherjar mode. Players looking to earn the new item will need to take on the mode’s toughest encounters and successfully overcome the powerful bosses.
Alongside the new content, developer Bellring Games continued its ongoing effort to refine class balance across several playable classes, addressing both gameplay concerns and long-standing bugs reported by the community.
Blackarrow Gets a Small Nerf
The biggest gameplay adjustment in the update targets the Blackarrow, specifically its Steel Arrow skill. Uncharged shots no longer have an impact effect, while the impact of fully charged shots has also been slightly reduced, dialing back some of the weapon’s crowd-control potential.
The update also fixes two bugs affecting the class. One resolved an issue that caused abnormal displacement after performing a side dodge followed by a jump, while another prevents collision prompts from appearing when aiming at stealthed enemies. This bug is actually slightly abusive, as Blackarrow players use this to kite abnormally, making them too hard to catch.
Withered Knight Receives Slight Buffs
The Withered Knight benefits the most from the latest patch, with several quality-of-life improvements aimed at making the class feel smoother to play.
Both Sprinting Slash and Withering Mark now consume slightly less Energy, allowing players to use the abilities more frequently during combat.
Several frustrating bugs have also been addressed. Certain skills will no longer collide with environmental obstacles and launch characters high into the air, while another fix prevents abilities from being interrupted by the Inspect action before their follow-up animations can play.
Finally, the update fixes an unusual issue where the Withered Knight’s Thorn Guide skill could unintentionally drag Richie the Merchant, eliminating one of the game’s stranger interactions.
Other Class Fixes Included
The patch also addresses several issues affecting other classes.
The Mercenary using Sword and Shield will no longer trigger unintended auto-blocks under specific conditions, while the Sorcerer’s Stardust playstyle can once again properly use a charged Meteor Charm, resolving a bug that prevented the skill from functioning correctly.
More Balance Updates Are Coming
Bellring Games emphasized that class balance remains an ongoing process. The developer noted that classes absent from this update are still being evaluated rather than considered perfectly balanced.
According to the team, future balance patches will continue to be guided by community feedback and gameplay data, with adjustments only being implemented after thorough testing. As Mistfall Hunter continues to evolve, players can likely expect additional tuning updates in the coming weeks.
