Fans want a Microsoft Flight Simulator VR experience and it looks like they may be getting one. When this stunning simulator experience was first unveiled, the reaction was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. This new adventure offers users a chance to see the world like never before, but what if that beautiful experience was made even better? It could be thanks to a Microsoft Flight Simulator VR change that could be in the works due to high fan demand.
“Right after the E3 trailer came out there were a lot of people making that exact assumption, that ‘Oh yeah, this better be supporting VR right from the get go.’ It honestly wasn’t our plan,” Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator, said in a recent interview with AVSIM. “But we are listening, and we heard it, so we will try our darnedest to make it happen. Whether or not we’re going to pull it off for launch, we can’t commit to that at this point in time, but we are aware of the desire, and given that we genuinely want to make the sim that simmers want, we will try to prioritize that over other things.”
Taking this adventure into the world of Virtual Reality would be incredible for a multitude of reasons! One, for simple enjoyment, and two for those that have limited mobility. It’s ultra-immersive, something that many were quick to praise, so taking that experience and making it up close and personal with VR would just be nothing short of absolutely stunning.
Though Microsoft Flight Simulator isn’t available yet, it will enter into playable alpha stage on October 24th. For more about this experience, you can sign up to be an Insider here, as well as learn more below:
