If you’re a poker fan, then you’ve no doubt been dealing the cards on Xbox Live Arcade with Microsoft’s previously released Full House Poker, socializing with friends and making some cash in the process. But now the real game is about to begin.
The company has announced that it is working on a new version of its social poker game, titled World Series of Poker: Full House Pro. Coming to both Xbox Live Arcade and Windows 8, the game is switching to a free-to-play format, with a variety of game modes, a new degree of social interactivity with friends and newcomers, and a constant barrage of updates – so there’s always something new. World Series of Poker on ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad will also be providing play-by-play, as they do on the program.
If you’ve got what it takes within the game, you can actually make your way to the All-In Pro Takedown Tournament, or just have fun with friends in the head-to-head Pro Takedowns.
The game will release this spring. We’ll have a strategic preview for you very soon.
