It’s summertime, and you know what that means, besides the BBQs, watching Pacific Rim and being lazy by the pool. It’s an all-new Microsoft Summer of Arcade, which kicks off on Xbox Live Marketplace August 7th. Today, Microsoft detailed the four games that will be part of the program and how much each title will cost.
On August 7th is the co-op adventure Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Using two younger siblings, you’ll solve puzzles and travel to exotic locations while controlling both brothers at once using the thumb sticks. This one will set you back 1200 Microsoft points ($15).
On the 14th is the latest from James Silva, the creator of the Dishwasher games. Charlie Murder is a four-player arcade-style beat-em-up where you lead band members in a fight against invading hordes in the punk rock apocalypse. Featuring exquisite graphics and the chance to unlock extra moves, this one looks like a real party. It’ll only set you back 800 Microsoft points ($10).
Ubisoft’s remake of its classic adventure game Flashback will be released on August 21st. This new take on the Genesis/SNES/PC classic will have you guiding Conrad B. Hart through some exciting scenarios while earning new skills and taking down enemies. This one will only cost 800 Microsoft points ($10).
Finally, Activision’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will brawl your way August 28th. Featuring all four heroic Turtles, you’ll set out to clean up the streets as you take on the Foot Clan while using combo moves and weapons to your advantage. This one will cost 1200 Microsoft points ($15).
We’ll have strategic previews for each of these games soon.
