THQ is pushing Metro: Last Light like crazy as it speeds towards its release next year (see our preview to see what all the hype is about), and now you can get in on the action by ordering a new Limited Edition of the game.

Those of you who pre-order the game before its release will be upgraded to this edition at no extra charge, and you’ll score various extras for in-game use, including a modified Russian rifle, the AKS-74U, along with other cool stuff.  You’ll also gain access to the Ranger Mode, which was originally introduced in Metro 2033, where you have reduced ammo and increased weapon damage, which is sure to be a challenge to even the most feverish of players.

If you pre-order the game on PlayStation Network before its release, you’ll also score another bonus – a full download of the first-person shooter Homefront, which will kick in right away.  Though it’s not as extraordinary as, say, Call of Duty, it’s still a great game, especially for no cost.

Metro: Last Light will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this March.
