Mercs 2 for handheld consoles?

We might see a version of Pandemic’s Mercenaries 2 come out on the handhelds, according to Scott Warner, the game’s lead designer.

When speaking to Eurogamer Warner spoke of his desire to see it in a pocket-format.
“At the moment we’re only concentrating on the versions of the game we’ve announced, but I’d love for us to work on a handheld version of Mercs!” Warner said to Eurogamer. “Anything’s possible!”
The game is to be released on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2 this year.
Mercenaries 2 boasts a “jump-in” online co-op mode and will feature heavily destructible environments.
