The Medium Gets a September 3 Release Date for PS5

No more exclusivity as The Medium is officially coming to PS5 on September 3. When it arrives on PS5, The Medium will offer full DualSense support as noted in the press release from Bloober Team.

“Following a successful global launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on January 28, 2021, Bloober Team is excited to bring The Medium to PS5™ to take advantage of the console hardware as well as the DualSense controller, offering players the immersive experience of exploring two worlds simultaneously, shocking fans and players alike throughout the game.”

If you live in Japan, NA Publishing will be bringing the game to PS5 (and PC) closer to Holiday 2021. An exact date has yet to be provided.

In addition to the upcoming PS5 release, September 3 also marks the day that physical retail copies of The Medium become available. Partnering with Koch Media, Bloober Team will release physical copies of the game for PC, Xbox Series X | S, and PS5.

For collectors, there will be a special edition called The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition that’ll be available on September 3 as well.

Included in The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition is the game’s soundtrack composed by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowsi, a 32-page hardcover artbook, and of course, a copy of the game, with everything packaged together in an exclusive Steelbook case.
