It’s busy times ahead for the studio team at Straight Run.  The team is currently hard at work on converting BioWare’s space epic Mass Effect 3 to the Wii U in time for the system’s launch, but apparently it also has its hands full with some additional projects – namely two mystery games that are being planned for Nintendo’s forthcoming console.

Talking with Eurogamer, Straight Run head honcho Tom Crago stated, “We’ve made a number of bets on the Wii U, so we’re certainly hoping that the platform comes strongly out of the gate.  We’ve got two other titles in development.”  Now, as far as what the titles are, he didn’t say, but he stated, “One of them is original, our own IP, and another is based on another big franchise that will come out in 2013.  It’s a big title and you will have heard of it.”

So what could this “big title” be?  Chances are we’ll find out when the new year rolls around.  In the meantime, check out our impressions of Mass Effect 3, which are up on our page now.

And look for Shepard’s farewell on Wii U later this year.
