Marvel’s Avengers Coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 30

It’s official, Marvel’s Avengers is coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 30. The game will be available for Game Pass on console, PC, and cloud and will include all previously released free content for the game.

Note that Marvel’s Avengers on Game Pass does not include the eight cosmetic items included in the digital-only Endgame Edition of Marvel’s Avengers. For that, you’d need to purchase the Endgame Edition DLC Upgrade.

Outside of that though, you’re pretty much getting the full Marvel’s Avengers experience on Game Pass.

“Every player with an Xbox Game Pass membership can experience the full game and all our post-launch Heroes and missions.

This includes four story campaigns that showcase one or more Hero’s unique abilities, as well as our Avenger Initiative – our evolving online multiplayer world that lets you and three friends play as any Hero in our roster and embark on global adventures.”

The post goes on to confirm that Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also have immediate access to Marvel’s Avengers new War for Wakanda expansion featuring the new playable Hero, Black Panther.

Additionally, while Marvel’s Avengers is on Game Pass, subscribers will be able to enjoy future updates featuring new playable Heroes, missions, villains, campaigns, events, and more. And if you’re playing on Xbox Series X|S, you can enjoy the optimized version of Marvel’s Avengers.

Meanwhile, on the same day Marvel’s Avengers becomes available on September 30, a Quad XP event will be available (September 30 – October 4) where you can earn quadruple experience and quickly level up your favorite Heroes.

Furthermore, the Xbox Wire post mentions that the game’s Hero Catalyst XP Boosters are additive to the 4x boost. It’s exciting to hear that Marvel’s Avengers will be available on Xbox Game Pass, and that newcomers checking out the game will have a chance to get a nice head start when it comes to XP.

Of course, we’re curious to hear your thoughts on the addition of Marvel’s Avengers to Xbox Game Pass. Are you looking forward to checking the game out on September 30? Are you happy it’ll include all previously released content, and new content like the War for Wakanda expansion?
