Nintendo is well-known for offering early looks at upcoming games. Next weekend will be no different as the company offers a Mario Tennis Aces beta for Nintendo Switch owners. The beta is essentially a Mario Tennis Aces demo that players can download right now even though they won’t be able to play until next weekend. In addition to the demo, there will be a Mario Tennis Aces tournament that everyone can play in during the beta weekend. Read on to find out more details concerning the Mario Tennis Aces beta, demo and tournament.

While you can download the Mario Tennis Aces beta right now, you won’t be able to play the game until Friday, June 1 at 9PM EDT. The beta will be available to play until Monday, June 4 at 3AM EDT. The main portion of the beta consists of an online tournament. Playing 1-on-1 matches against other people will allow you to earn points which can be used to unlock new characters.
In addition to the online tournament mode, players will be able to go through offline matches against CPU-controlled opponents to hone their skills. Both modes will be unavailable when the beta comes to an end early Monday morning, so be sure to play as much as you can throughout the weekend.
