LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 fans get to enjoy some new Black Panther content ahead of the film’s theatrical debut this week. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of Marvel’s Black Panther Movie Character and Level Pack, a brand new DLC pack for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. This announcement comes just in time for the February 16 nationwide theatrical release of Marvel’s Black Panther.
The new Black Panther DLC for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will put you in the Kingdom of Wakanda, where you will be challenged by enemies of varying types. Your goal is to defeat Erik Killmonger’s army alongside your sister, Shuri. LEGO fans can play as the legendary Black Panther himself, as well as Everett K. Ross, Okoye, Erik Killmonger, Nakia, and Ulysses Klaue. The new Black Panther characters join an expansive roster of over 200 heroes and villains in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 released in November of last year, and the main story was co-written by award-winning comics writer Kurt Busiek. Marvel and LEGO fans alike will surely enjoy this title just as much as they did the first LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game.
Players who are itching for some Black Panther game content ahead of the film’s release can purchase the DLC pack for $2.99. Players can also opt for the Season Pass, which is available for $14.99 and grants access to everything else LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 has to offer. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 isn’t the only game gearing up for Black Panther’s theatrical debut with new DLC content. The popular mobile game Marvel Future Fight has also added its own Black Panther DLC in anticipation of the upcoming Marvel film.
