Lego Dimensions Gets a Second Season, Starting This September

What better way to continue the fun of Lego Dimensions than by adding a second season, chock full of many memorable characters and franchises?

That’s exactly what Warner Bros. has announced for its toys-to-life game, which will see 16 add-ons through its second season. The fun kicks off on September 27th with the debut of a new 2016 Ghostbusters Story Pack; Adventure Time and Mission: Impossible Level Packs; Harry Potter and Adventure Time team packs; and The A-Team Fun Pack.

Following that, new packs will be released over the course of the following year, including ones based on movies like The Lego Batman Movie and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them; classic favorites like Gremlins, E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, The Goonies and Beetlejuice; and other favorites like Teen Titans, Powerpuff Girls, Lego City Undercover, Knight Rider and Sonic the Hedgehog. Yep, it’s time to go fast in the world of Lego.

The content will work fine with all previously released versions of Lego Dimensions, and the game will also introduce new Battle Arenas, where players can go at it one-on-one in split-screen battle mode. Let’s see how Sonic fares against E.T., shall we? Ouch.
