The Myahm Agana shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild offers one motion control puzzle that isn’t overly difficult to figure out, but some may have issues with how to access the chest in the middle of the puzzle. This Myahm Agana shrine guide covers how to complete the motion control puzzle and how to access the chest so you can get the Phrenic Bow, which has a longer attack range than most other bows in Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
You can find the Myahm Agana shrine south of the entrance to the Hateno Village. If you’re heading into the village it’s easy to find the shrine if you look to your right. Once inside the Myahm Agana shrine head up the stairs to the right to find a Sheikah terminal. Access the terminal to take control of the large platform ahead using the motion controls in the Nintendo Switch.
To complete the puzzle you need to tilt the platform so the ball rolls through the maze and makes it to the ramp protruding from the left side. Once the ball is lined up with the ramp, you need to tilt the platform so the ball picks up speed as it heads left toward the end of the ramp. Just before it reaches the end, tilt the platform to the right so the ramp is angled upward and the ball jumps the gap and makes it to the adjacent platform.
With the ball on the platform it will roll down to the hole near the locked gate. Once it settles into the hole the gate will unlock and allow access into the final chamber. Before you run into the final room and collect your Spirit Orb, take control of the platform again. This time rotate the platform so the ramp is positioned toward Link, but tilted so it’s well below the platform where the Sheikah terminal resides. You also want to make sure the upper left corner of the platform is high enough that you can glide from there to the adjacent platform. It should look like the screenshot below.
Once the platform is in position, use the glider to safely land on the platform, then run through the maze to the chest. Open the chest to obtain the Phrenic Bow, then glide from the opening in the upper left to the platform (just like the ball did) and run down to the newly opened doorway to claim your Spirit Orb.
If you’re in a hurry you can always take this inventive shortcut to go straight to the end of the shirne.
