We love killing zombies as much as the next guy in the hit Valve game Left 4 Dead 2, but there’s nothing like doing it on a custom map that a friend created just to see what new twists and turns they’ve implemented into their design. And soon enough, you’ll be able to do this in the easy way.
Valve has announced today that they will be adding Steam Workshop support to the PC version of the game, which will allow users and modders to test other friends’ creations, as well as supplying their own.
But on top of that, Valve is “also going to try an experiment with the L4D2 Workshop that will allow content to appear in the L4D2 world even more seamlessly based on the community’s response.” This is according to the company’s official website.
No word on Xbox 360 support just yet, but PC owners will be able to tinker with this new option starting next month. Are you excited to share some creations in L4D2? Just don’t create a Gangnam Style map. Please…
