Kinect Gets a $40 Price Drop In Certain Markets

Looking at just under $110 to equip your Xbox 360 with the motion-sensing peripheral.

Have you been skeptical about picking up a Kinect device for the Xbox 360?  Maybe you just didn’t think that the motion-sensing technology was affordable.  Well, your perspective just might be ready to change.

Per his blog page, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has announced that Microsoft has dropped the price of the Kinect device in the North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions.  It’s a $40 drop, going down to $109.99.  This price drop takes effect immediately, and it’ll also be hitting that range in Australia and New Zealand on October 4th.  No word on when the price drop will take place in Japan or EMEA, however.

This is good news for those that have been looking to get the device without paying a hefty fee.  We highly recommend tracking one down that comes bundled with games, like The Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect. That’s a swell deal right there.
