The PlayStation Vita got quite a kick in the pants today with a pair of new game announcements, which are likely to help pick up sales.
First off, Sony finally unveiled its Killzone game for the Vita, titled Killzone: Mercenary. In this new first-person shooter, you’ll battle enemies while earning cash that can help score you new weapons in the game. A release date wasn’t given, but we’re expecting the game to surface in 2013, with possible multiplayer features.
Also, Media Molecule, the creators of LittleBigPlanet, announced their new project, TearAway, a game with similarities to the appearance of the Katamari series, but with an innovative world made of paper that you can interact with when it comes to defeating enemies and moving around. This one is expected in 2013 as well.
Oh, and on a side note, PlayStation Plus will be coming to PS Vita soon as well.
Look for previews on both of these games, and PlayStation Plus compatibility, soon!
