Characters continue to be confirmed for the official Mortal Kombat 11 roster, with Johnny Cage featured in the latest reveal trailer. In the trailer, Cage can be seen sporting his typical charismatic style of fighting, and appears to have a diverse lineup of abilities to choose from.
For example, we see him warm up with a few heavy kicks before throwing some green fireballs. He also flexes his confidence with a hilarious “mime in a box” move, and flings a pair of his sunglasses like a weapon.
The best move is arguably his Fatality though, which shows Cage cycling between different uppercut takes against Kabal, ending with him cheekily flipping off the camera. The trailer closes on a scene of Cage playing with a doll version of himself, along with the fun image of him making the doll do the splits.
It seems like Cage’s fighting techniques from previous Mortal Kombat games have all been incorporated and meshed together in Mortal Kombat 11. This will certainly appeal to long-time fans of the series, along with those who plan to main Cage.
