Lex Luthor is one of the slower characters in the game. To offset this, he hits hard, plays the distance with traps and projectiles, and has long-reaching basic attacks.
For Lex Luthor to make use of his more damaging combos, he will need to utilize his Super Meter, and to build meter he will have to keep the opponent at a distance using all of his high-tech weaponry and traps to control the playing field.
This strategy will ensure that his Super Meter is healthy. Adding his Character Power Energy Shield to his game plan almost makes up for him being a slower character.

Description: Lex Luthor walks forward while letting loose with a three-hit attack string that is combo punishable when blocked.

Command: Press the Power button
Description: When Energy Shield is charged and activated, depending on the length and level, it will grant Lex Luthor armor, cut the damage of an absorbed attack in half, or negate an attack’s damage entirely.
