Mega Ampharos is coming to Pokemon Go! Starting today, Mega Ampharos will be available in Mega Raids. That’s not all, though! On Sunday, January 24, from 11 am to 5 pm local time; there will be an incense day event featuring electric-type, dragon-type, and more!

Here is the breakdown of when each type will be available.
- From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Electric-type Pokémon
- From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Dragon-type Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve into Dragon-type Pokémon
- From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Electric-type Pokémon
- From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Dragon-type Pokémon and Pokémon that evolve into Dragon-type Pokémon
Pop an incense and you’ll have an increased chance of finding Mareep, Horsea, Dratini, Trapinch, Vibraca, and Swablu!
There will also be a special Mareep during this event; you can read the official description about it below.
“During this event, Incense will attract more Mareep, and you could even encounter a Shiny Mareep if you’re lucky! Evolve Flaaffy (the evolved form of Mareep) during the event to get an Ampharos that knows the previously Community Day–exclusive attack Dragon Pulse! An event-exclusive 1 PokéCoin bundle featuring three Incense will also be available to pick up in the shop.”
