Iconic Suit from Pragmata’s Demo Returns in New Update

It's back!

PRAGMATA is one of my favorite releases of the year, partly thanks to the excellent lead duo, Hugh and Diana. There are plenty of outfits to unlock for both characters, but one of the most iconic suits for Hugh was previously only available in the Sketchbook Demo.

CAPCOM has released a new update for PRAGMATA ahead of Father’s Day, bringing back the Scribble Suit alongside a few gameplay and text adjustments.

Scribble Suit Returns in PRAGMATA

The Scribble Suit for Hugh was previously only unlockable in the Sketchbook Demo, but today’s update adds the outfit to the full game as well.

So, if you wanted to hack and shoot enemies while wearing an outfit covered in Diana’s drawings, you can now do so throughout the entire game. Hugh’s helmet will now have a goofy smile the entire time he destroys robots in tense encounters.

To change outfits in Pragmata, go to the Outfit Terminal in the Shelter to browse and select the one you want. There is no special requirement for this particular outfit.

Here are the complete patch notes for the update, which is available across all platforms including PC, PS5, Xbox Series S|X and the Nintendo Switch 2:

  • Hugh’s Scribble Suit outfit added.
  • Training Simulation #30, “Stand or Die,” difficulty reduced.
  • Minor text corrections implemented.

The only gameplay-related adjustment in the patch targets Training Simulation #30, “Stand or Die.” CAPCOM hasn’t detailed exactly what was changed, but lowering the difficulty should make the challenge more approachable, especially if you’re going for the ranks.

This is the last challenge in the training simulations, and finishing it unlocks the “Master of the Simulator” achievement. If this particular challenge was holding you back from unlocking it, I’d give it another try now.

Memories Are You Music Video

Alongside the update, CAPCOM has also released a full-length music video for PRAGMATA’s main theme song, “Memories Are You,” which you can watch below (be warned, though, there are spoilers in the footage):

It’s not a major update, especially since PRAGMATA is already in good shape from a performance standpoint, but it’s nice to see the game continue receiving support. Despite being a new IP, PRAGMATA sold over two million copies in just 16 days and has earned praise from both fans and critics.

I really hope CAPCOM is planning to release an expansion or DLC for PRAGMATA. While there are plenty of in-game incentives to replay the title thanks to its higher difficulty modes, it would be great to experience some new story content as well. Be sure to check out my review of the game.
