I Am Alive, the post-apocalyptic survival horror title brought to our not quite apocalypsed planet by Ubisoft Shanghai this year will be coming to PCs on September 13th.
Our advice would certainly be to have a little look as the previously Xbox/PS3 exclusive title is a lot of scary fun to play.
The game places the player a full year after a disaster of, well, apocalyptic proportions takes place. The event itself is only ever referred to as, erm, “The event”, meaning you’ll be scratching your head wondering just who it was that pressed the button, or what it was that hit the Earth and where etc.
It’s a third person affair, but switches to first person when you want to shoot stuff, though much of the gameplay is sneaking, climbing and foraging for supplies to keep your ever-diminishing stamina up.
