Hyper Light Drifter Has an Awesome Collector’s Edition Available

With Hyper Light Drifter set to arrive on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4, there’s plenty of retro goodness inbound – but the developers at Heart Machine have a new way to play the game. 

The development team behind the retro-style action/RPG has announced a special collector’s edition of the game, made in conjunction with the team at iam8bit. For $65, players can invest in a collector’s edition that includes a SNES style replica box, a 24-page game manual, a 24 X 18″ world map poster, and, best of all, a blue SNES cartridge. If you still have that system lying around, you can play it as the developer originally intended.

The game can be purchased in the iam8bit Store now, though it isn’t scheduled to ship until the game releases in late summer. Still, it’s quite a collectible for those who love the old school.
