Horizon Forbidden West Delayed To Q1 2022 According to New Report

Earlier this year in an interview with Herman Hulst he mentioned that Guerrilla is doing its best to try and make the 2021 window but it did not want to give a release date until the team was absolutely sure they could hit it.

With that news in hand, we knew it was a possibility that the game would not make its initial mark. The rumor of the delay started circulating yesterday after Jeff Grub mentioned it on the Giant Bomb news show Grubsnax.

Of course Horizon Forbidden West is not the only game to see delays into 2022 with many notable games like Gotham Knights and God of War 2.

Earlier this summer Sony showed off roughly 14 minutes of gameplay of Horizon Forbidden West, which you can check out here to tide you over until we learn more about the project, hopefully in the coming weeks.

PlayStation has not made an official comment at the time of this reporting.
