Hideo Kojima’s PT Gets a Cutesy Makeover With QT

Hideo Kojima's PT may have been cancelled, but it lives in our hearts with this adorable take.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills game teaser P.T. was unfortunately axed but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t lived on in various fan projects and mod takes. Some of them have been stunning, others utterly terrifying, but the latest takes the P.T concept to a place where it’s never been before; a place of absolute adorable cuteness. That’s right, QT has arrived!

QT

QT is the perfect name for this project, pronounced ‘cutie’, because this takes everything fans saw in the Playable Teaser and adds just random cuteness into the mix. Created by Happy Snake Games, QT “is a very cute game with a very spooky beginning! It’s really cute and you can explore a spooky house and find you’re new best buddy called Weemble.”

The entire experience lasts about 30 minutes with tons of achievements for players to earn. And of course, it holds quite a few secrets as well which … cute!

Don’t worry, this project is completely free, and can be found right here, though there is a Kickstarter for a multitude of projects related to Hideo Kojima’s project. The creator also added that this game is “weird and not straight forward” and because of that, they also supplied a spoiler-free tip guide here to help players earn all of the achievements that the game has to offer.
