If you’re lucky enough to have access then Halo 3’s beta will be available to play from 16th May till 7th June, Microsoft have announced.

It features “new levels, weapons, vehicles and game types, as well as a chance to provide valuable data that Bungie will use in continued development”.
Featured in the beta will be maps Snowbound, High Ground and Valhalla. There’s the chance to have a go of the all-terrain Mongoose vehicle, the Spartan Laser, the Brute Spiker and those new Spike Grenades.
Access to the beta was secured with the purchase of special copies of Crackdown (of which there were a lot).
