H-Hour: World’s Elite Screenshots Released

The first glimpse at the spiritual successor to SOCOM.

Fans of SOCOM and SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs will be happy to know that David Sears is at it again. The former Creative Director of Zipper Interactive teamed up with Connor Thomas, a Special Operations veteran turned studio president. Together, along with the rest of their development team, they are hard at work creating what has become known as the spiritual successor to SOCOM.

Earlier this year, H-Hour: World’s Elite became Kickstarter’s highest funded military shooter with more than $250,000 in donations. Since that time, Sears and his team at Special Operations Forces Studios (SoF) have been hard at work building the demo for H-Hour, currently in its pre alpha phase. A little more than a week ago, SoF released the first official screen shot of its highly anticipated indie shooter. Just yesterday, a second image was posted.

As you can clearly see, the game is a work in progress and will likely undergo drastic changes from now until its release. Still, backers of the Kickstarter campaign will be excited to see the progress. You can expect H-Hour to release on the PC and PS4 at a date that’s yet to be determined.
