We’ve been waiting to hear some good stuff on Codemasters’ GRID 2 since it was announced a few months ago, and this morning, we got that news in spades.
The long-awaited sequel, which will feature the classic refined action of the original amidst a slew of new cars and tracks, will hit our shores on March 28th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, while arriving around the rest of the world on March 31st.
GameStop has already begun taking pre-orders for the game, offering a bunch of bonuses for those who hop on the bandwagon early, including a McLaren Racing Pack and a GTR Racing Pack, featuring the likes of the McLaren MP4-12C GT3, as well as two additional routes for the Brands Hatch circuit, and the Nissan GT-R SpecV and five routes for the Yas Marina track.
Best Buy is also taking pre-orders and offering an IndyCar pack, including the Dallara IndyCar as well as tour routes for the Indianapolis Motor SpeedWay Oval circuit and access to a special online pack.
Finally, Amazon has its own goodies to offer, including a Head Start pack with a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT, a RaceNet bonus, and discounts for car upgrades.
We’ll have a more in-depth preview of the game soon, so prepare yourself for racing madness!
