Pokemon GO recently announced something that has fans of both Pokemon GO and McDonald’s in luck, as both companies are participating in a collaborative event. This month, Pokemon GO players who visit a McDonald’s in both West and South India will have the opportunity to interact with temporary Sponsored PokeStops at McDonald’s locations.
If the sponsored event in India is similar to that of the Canadian event prior, spinning the Sponsored PokeStops will provide trainers with sponsored Field Research tasks to reward them with items such as Stardust and Rare Candy upon completion. Trainers receiving Gifts from the PokeStops can also show off their Postcards to other players on their friend lists.
“In addition, you’ll be able to enjoy special offers—both in-game and at all McDonald’s India (West and South) restaurants! Make sure to visit the nearest McDonald’s restaurant in these regions to interact with Sponsored PokéStops and Gyms and take advantage of these exciting offers.”

It sounds like in-game rewards are not the only thing one can expect from the Pokemon GO and McDonald’s collaboration in West and South India, as it states that there will be rewards at all of the McDonald’s, too. Sounds delicious!
Two countries have participated in this collaboration so far, and it’s only a matter of time until it comes elsewhere. I, for one, hope that we can eventually see a McDonald’s-inspired avatar pose or, even better, a costumed Pikachu. One can dream, right?
