Considering that Pirates of the Caribbean is one of Disney’s more popular live-action franchises (On Stranger Tides by itself made over a billion dollars worldwide), it should be no surprise that Avalanche Studios included its universe in the forthcoming Disney Infinity. Today, it provided a closer look at that world, through the release of a new behind-the-scenes video.
In the playset you’ll take control of Captain Jack Sparrow, along with side characters like Davy Jones and Captain Barbossa (if you pick up the figures). You’ll explore new areas on land and sea while engaging in ship battles and fighting with the help of your trusty sword. In addition to playing around this interactive world, you’ll also be able to unlock new items for Toy Box Mode, so you can build your own pirate world however you see fit.
